Getting Into You by Relient K
When I made up my mind
And my heart along with that
To live not for myself
But yet for God, somebody said
Do you know what you are getting yourself into
When I finally ironed out
All of my priorities
And asked God to remove the doubt
That makes me so unsure of these
Things I ask myself, I ask myself
Do you know what you are getting yourself into
I’m getting into you
Because you got to me, in a way words can’t describe
I’m getting into you
Because I’ve got to be
You’re essential to survive
I’m going to love you with my life
When he looked at me and said
I kind of view you as a son
And for a second our eyes met
And I met that with a question
Do you know what you are getting yourself into
I’ve been a liar and I’ll never amount to
The kind of person you deserve to worship you
You say you will not dwell on what I did but rather what I do you say
I love you and that’s what you are getting yourself into
He said, I love you and that’s what you are getting yourself into
Criminal Records.
Mary and I do this thing where we go to little 5 to find new albums. We pick out what we want, and before we leave, we each pick a CD solely based off the cover art. So shallow, right? Also insanely risky, but whatever. The first time we went, I picked a Neon Trees album and LOVED it. This time, it was complete fate and I picked up the Fiction Family album. Relient K + Nickel Creek. Does it get any better? What are the chances..
Definitely going to make this a habit.
Anyways, this is my favorite song off of the CD.

Love

When I lived in the commons. When my face wasn’t as chubby.. ha :)
I can’t tell which one of these facts is more unnerving - Half of sophomore year in college being over, or that the year is coming to an end.
There are SO many things to look forward to in 2012. God spoils me to no end.
Starting my internship makes me feel so grown up - it’s the same feeling I used to get when I threw on a pair of Sylvia’s heels and mashed her lipstick on my face. Finishing up spring semester will mark the half way point in my academic career. I’ll be partaking in my first sprint season with my boat. Angela will graduate in the spring and move far, far away :( Sometimes, I wish she wasn’t so smart. There’s such a disconnect with people like her and people like me.
I’ve been delaying my packing and typing this instead, but honestly - I can’t wait to go home to see Kevin and Sylvia.
:)
